FAQ
What makes Maka Maka products sustainable?
Our products are crafted using ethically sourced, natural materials—including Organic Peace Silk, handwoven cotton, repurposed metals, and reclaimed wood. We follow fair trade practices and create in small batches to minimize waste.
Are your items handmade?
Yes. Every piece is handcrafted by skilled artisans across India and the U.S. We value the time, care, and cultural heritage behind each design.
What is your turnaround time?
In-stock items ship within 3–5 business days. Made-to-order items ship within 4–6 weeks. You'll receive tracking details once your order is on its way.
Do you accept returns or refunds?
Due to the handcrafted and made-to-order nature of our products, we do not accept returns or offer refunds. We encourage mindful purchases and are happy to answer any questions before you place an order.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please contact us at order@makamakahome.com within 3 days of delivery with your order number and photos. We’ll work with you to make it right.
Do you offer wholesale?
Yes. We welcome direct wholesale purchasing on our website. Apply here.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we ship within the United States. For international orders, please email us at order@makamakahome.com and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
Who are the artisans you work with?
We work with women-led cooperatives, rural weavers, master craftspeople, and designer-artisans. Learn more on our Meet the Artisans page.
